Identity

I do not claim to be anymore than who God has made me to be, but that alone is much more than I could ever ask for. I am redeemed by the blood of Christ, in Him I find life and identity, and apart from Him I am nothing. God has given me a gift for music, and a passion for worship. Beyond that, He called me to be a Pastor when I was 13 years old, and the story of my calling is something I will never forget. God seems to be quite interested in making me a leader, and although I doubt myself sometimes, He lifts me up.

Family & Roots

I grew up in the St. Louis area, where I spent some of the most meaningful moments of my childhood in the church that my family was called to plant. For over 11 years I saw a church family grow to be as tight nit as my own. When I was 17, my mom, sister, and I left Missouri to pursue the next church my dad was called to pastor in Washington state. It was at that church that I met my wife, and by age 19 I married her. At a year and a half of marriage, my wife and I packed up our things to move to Kansas City so that I could pursue an on-campus Mdiv at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
